In this photo Clifton Luttrell Sr. is kicking back
and taking what was probably a well deserved
break. Lois, Opal's sister, jokingly wrote "laziness" at the top of the photo. As if to underscore how hard working Cliff really was you can see the "red house" in the background. This was a house that Cliff helped build. This was taken in the late 1940's in Harlan County Kentucky. Oh by the way the person's dress on the right of the photo is Cliff's daughter Reba Jo (Luttrell) Estes. |
